Nino Provenza tells...
Join me, let's build a fish-friendly world.
I know why you are here, my friend.
You and I have a great passion in common: aquariums (and animals). Just think that I have even transformed this passion of ours into my daily work.
Now that I’m here writing you this letter, while my fish are swimming in their tank by my side, I understand you perfectly. I stare at the aquarium for a few seconds and I feel so relaxed after an intense day of work: You want to experience these emotions too, right?
Let me introduce myself, my name is Nino Provenza and I am 30 years old.
I come from Tuscany, near Florence and you can say everything about me except that I am not someone who loves trying to do new things. I grew up on a farm, always surrounded by animals.

My love for them was born there. I then started to like especially reptiles and tropical fish. When I got my first iguana, Mady, I wanted her to live in the best possible environment, so I built her terrarium all by myself.
After Mady I took many other animals and built as many terrariums.
In a short time I began to devote myself day and night to what had now become a real passion. I also showed my creations to the owner of a shop in Florence. She was fascinated by it but didn’t even buy one!
This did not quell my passion.
I began to participate in many trade fairs throughout Italy and I soon realized that the level of commercial products in circulation was very low. I decided I had to stand out from the crowd. My terrariums had to be “display” products, beautiful to look at for customers and above all they were going to recreate the best possible habitat for the animals that lived there.
Working with glass for terrariums almost inevitably led me to become passionate about the world of aquariums.

Making aquariums is a lot of fun, each species of fish has different characteristics and needs a particular environment that must be recreated with care and meticulousness. Without realizing it, my love of animals had become a full-time job.
I had the dream of making the best custom-made aquariums and terrariums on the market but I couldn’t do it alone. Thus was born Animal’s House. It has all been a crescendo since then.
The quality of our products has allowed us to have many satisfactions and to work with large companies, such as the Genoa aquarium, designed by the famous Italian architect Renzo Piano.
What has always pushed me to improve is the desire to make animals live in the best possible environment but, at the same time, satisfy the tastes and needs of my customers.
A hug and see you soon,
Nino.
